This preview has been provided by the Duke Music Department.

The Duke University Wind Symphony, directed by Verena Mösenbichler-Bryant, presents "Crowdsource," a concert where the audience gets to vote on how the concert will end. The program, featuring repertoire chosen by Wind Symphony members, includes crowd-pleasers by Alfred Reed, Georges Bizet, Giuseppe Verdi, and others.

The Duke University Wind Symphony has a long tradition of leadership in the college band field, performing at least four formal concerts each year. Programs feature chamber works and pieces that employ the lush sonorities of the large symphonic ensemble, and such composers as Susato, Bach, Mozart, Holst, Grainger, Sousa, Ives, Gershwin, as well as those writing for the medium today are represented. Each year the Duke University Wind Symphony premieres works by Duke composition students and collaborates frequently with guest soloists, guest conductors, and other ensembles.
