  *"WEEK I / Program One includes Francis Poulenc's final work, the beautiful Oboe Sonata; Sonata da Chiesa for flute and organ by Swiss composer Frank Martin and trios for flute, oboe and piano by Madeleine Dring and Eugène Goosens. In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Olivier Messiaen's birth, his composition Le Merle Noir (The Black Bird) for flute and piano will be performed.
