Notes

From the organizing artist: I’m playing a concert, a programmatic idea I’ve had for many years, and the stars have recently aligned to make presenting it a possibility. I’m deeply indebted to the many friends/wonderful performers who have made themselves available for this. They say “it takes a village.” In this case, it is taking 4 singers, 2 string players, 2 woodwind players, a horn player, and (of course) me. The program is called “Three’s Company – Music for voice/piano and one other instrument.” The music ranges from some of the masterworks for this art form to a world premiere written by Scott Tilley specifically for this evening. - David Heid
