A concert featuring two works by the highly acclaimed North Carolina composer Dan Locklair. “A DuBose Heyward Triptych,” portraying the city of Charleston, SC with its coastal beauty and Civil War history, and “Requiem,” a lovely, serene setting accompanied by organist Matthew Brown, will be performed.
Dan Locklair, a native of Charlotte, NC, is Composer-in-Residence and Professor of Music at Wake Forest University. He and his wife, Paula, will be attending Cantari’s performance in March.
