Program

In celebration of Richard Wagner's Bicentennial, a concert of several works by the operatic master.  First, music from Wagner’s Die Meistersinger and Die Walküre.  Following, Antonin Dvorak’s expressive and inspiring Symphony No. 6, with its folk-like melodies, serves as the foil to Wagner’s dramatic compositions.

Notes

This concert is scheduled as part of the North Carolina Western Regional Orchestra Festival.
