CVNC thanks the many individuals and groups whose support — financial and in-kind — has enabled us to serve North Carolina's performing arts community for the past six years. See our list here.

Our readership statistics — 34,148 site visits per month (or 442,761 "hits") in FY 2006-7 — reflect the popularity of our reviews, calendars, news, and links, and demonstrate that citizens of "The State of the Arts" value our many services — services that benefit arts lovers, presenters, and performers. John W. Lambert continues as Executive Editor, Roger A. Cope, as Editor, and Carolyn Kohring, as our Administrative Manager. We rely heavily on volunteers for our leadership and advocacy, for calendar and series compilations, and for accounting work. Please contact us if you would like to join our support team.

We invite our donors to renew their support, and we invite readers who have not yet contributed — most especially patrons of theatre and dance — to do so now. There are three ways to give — online, by transfer of stock, or by mail. We also derive some income from ads posted on our home and review index pages; for details, contact us. Either way, we're counting on you!

Join our "Voices for the Arts Society"

We invite you to help ensure long-term stability and growth of CVNC by joining our new "Voices for the Arts Society," launched in January 2007 with a lead gift by William L. Hampton. He and other committed friends of CVNC have made five-year pledges to support CVNC with predictable annual gifts. This helps CVNC by ensuring an ongoing stream of revenue and gives the organization a way to provide special recognition of these generous patrons. Use your credit card to make a tax-deductible donation to CVNC through PayPal. Signing up for an account with PayPal is optional — you can make a one-time donation via PayPal's secure site without registering (or, if you already have a PayPal account, you can login to contribute). Click the "Make a Donation" button to get started. Be sure to insert hyphens in your credit card number, where needed. And please use the "notes" field to tell us if your gift is for general operating support or for our theatre or dance groups — and if you would prefer that we not use your name in our online acknowledgments.

Donate Stock

Contact us, please, concerning possible donations of stock. We can accept gifts of stock by direct transfer with 100% of the appreciated value credited to the donor for tax purposes.

We will never ask for your used car, truck, RV, motorcycle, or boat..., and we won't abandon the fine arts to run old pop music columns for whole months at a time..., and we won't barrage you with reminders..., so please send checks or money orders to:
