The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African American Arts + Culture, 551 South Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28202

Formerly incarcerated women tell their stories. KWorks interprets them through dance. You can be part of the creative team at our in-process open studio series. Meet choreographer Martha Connerton, composer Elizabeth Kowalski, KWorks dancers, and the women whose stories we tell.

The January 19, February 21, and March 14 events are open rehearsals of the work in progress.  The finished work will be shown on May 2.

Moving Stories events are free of charge.  If you wish to visit the rest of the Center and galleries, the entry fee to the Gantt Center is only $8.

Free (reservations accepted)
