Hughie, by Eugene O'Neill: Small-time gangster Erie Smith tells the tale of his friendship with the late Hughie to his unwilling audience, the night clerk at his residential hotel. Like many of O'Neill's plays, Hughie explores the ideas of alienation, loneliness, and the need for a human connection. Unlike many of his other plays, it runs a taut sixty minutes, yet it covers as much emotional ground as many of his longer works. Directed by Andy Hayworth.
Actors Brook North and David Klionsky will be alternating the roles of Erie and Night Clerk. Tickets will be $15, but if you want to come back and see it “the other way” it will only be an additional $5:
$15/$12.50
