This concert is a brand new program of Swedish and German music, straddling the line between written and unwritten musical traditions. Featuring the unusual instrumentsviola da gamba (baroque bowed guitar) and nyckelharpa (traditional Swedish keyed fiddle), this program presents a deep exploration into the hidden musical gems of 18th-century Sweden, which pull their influences from French and German court music, as well as Swedish folk music:
