Ijapa and Mr. Igbin, an original score based on the Yoruba folktale The Tortoise and the Wisdom of the World, tells the story of a young tortoise and his adventures as he seeks to be the wisest animal. Voice-over actor, Henry O. Lovett, speaking the narration, and art work from Corneille Little's Poe Elementary students, will enhance this retelling. Don't miss this performance by Tayla Murphy and Sterling Elliott (Rolesville High), CT Thomas (Wake Forest High) and Lexi Etienne (Enloe High)!
