Anima Vox and friends perform contemporary works written by and inspired by Black and Indigenous composers in a diverse and multimedia setting.

Exploring diversity has been a trademark of the award-winning duo since its inception in 2015, having carried its mission of bringing underrepresented music to its audiences in Brazil, Mexico and the U.S. as well as creating live concert experiences online. Anima Vox is an innovative flute and soprano duo composed of faculty-artist Tadeu Coelho, flute, and Carole Ott Coelho, soprano.
