Selections from several of Wagner's most popular operas, in honor of the composer's 200th birthday. The concert will include Act I of Die Walküre, in what is thought to be the first ubstantial performance from Wagner’s Ring Cycle in the Triangle, as well as excerpts from Die Meistersinger, Tristan und Isolde, and other Wagner operas.
As of 1/25, Clay Hilley substitutes for Morris due to the latter's hospitalizaton.
